  • Initial consultations, typically can last ~90 minutes in length. Your personalized consult will include a comprehensive health history of both you and your baby. A pre and post feed weight check will be given, to better assess how well baby is transferring per feeding (this can include both bottle and or breastfeeding baby's). You and your baby will be observed during a feeding, and gently guided as needed. At the end of your visit you will be sent a personalized care plan. A superbill will be given for possible reimbursement from your insurance company.

  • While some breastfeeding challenges can be addressed in an initial visit, most challenges need additional support appointments with new care plan adjustments. We are here to help guide you with your breastfeeding/pumping journey! Typical follow up visits are ~1 hour in duration. During your consult your baby's feeding session will be observed, and a weighted feed will be determined. We will assess your progress and make any adjustments to your care plan as needed. A superbill will be given for possible reimbursement from your insurance company.

  • At the end of your visit you will be sent a personalized care plan. A superbill will be given for possible reimbursement from your insurance company.

  • Bottle consults are for babies who may be having difficulties successfully feeding from a bottle. Some common bottle fed difficulties include: bottle refusal, leaking milk during a feed/poor seal, proper nipple flow, gagging, colic, and other bottle related difficulties.

    During your consult your infant can be assessed for any oral issues that may be causing bottle feeding difficulties. You will be sent a personalized care plan after your visit. At the end of your visit you will be sent a personalized care plan. A superbill will be given for possible reimbursement from your insurance company.

  • An individualized introductory guided 1:1 to get you the guidance to a having a confident start to breastfeeding your little one. A typical prenatal appointment can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 60 minutes. You will be provided with a superbill to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement!

  • Telehealth visits are helpful to assist with any last minute struggles you may be having, until we are able to meet in-person & or any follow-up questions you may be having that do not require a hands on assessment. Virtual teleheath visits can vary in duration, ranging anywhere from ~30minutes to 60 minutes.

  • Self pay clients will be issued a superbill at the end of the consult, this superbill can be submitted to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

    Under The Affordable Care Act (ACA) most private insurance plans are required to cover breastfeeding support, counseling, and equipment, including breast-pumps, as a preventative service without any cost-sharing.

    This simply means that insurance plans cannot impose deductibles, copayments, or coinsurance rates for these services.

  • While most insurance plans will cover lactation care, it is essential to ask your specific insurance provider the details of their coverage. Insurance providers can further inform you how to obtain an insurance covered breast pump, and the extent of lactation support available.

    Lactation coverage usually begins before birth or shortly after you have delivered your baby.

  • Visits include 1 week of follow up support by secure messaging email through secure patient platform, PracticeQ.

    Messages will be responded to during normal business hours. Messages will be responded to promptly, ideally within 24 hours or less.

  • A travel convenience fee of $50 will be charged for home visits exceeding past 25 miles from area code 29710.

  • A $50 cancellation fee will be applied if a cancellation notice is given in less than 24 hours notice of the appointment scheduled.
